Basingstoke demolish Swindon in one sided game!
Having played and beaten Portsmouth & District Bowling Association the day before Swindon & District would have been excused for thinking their task would be easier on Sunday against the smaller and weaker Basingstoke & District Bowling Association.
Instead Basingstoke destroyed Swindon doubling their score !
Basingstoke 159 Swindon 79.
Basingstoke won five rinks and drew one.
An Alton four made top rink with an impressive 36-9 win by
R Roberts, D Sims, P Tarbutt and J Blair.
Other rinks scores with just the Basingstoke skips named were;

The B&D’s next representative game is against Portsmouth and District on the 23rd May at Lee-on-Solent.
Pompey always fields a strong side but Basingstoke will be looking to repeat this success.
